Cloud services, 5G networks, data centers, and critical communication systems have become an integral part of our daily lives. At IBS CommNet, you and your team will ensure that this infrastructure operates reliably.You’ll work on a variety of projects throughout Germany and lay the technical foundation for modern data centers and network infrastructures. In doing so, you’ll take on responsibility, continuously develop your technical expertise, and actively contribute to making our customers’ data centers energy-efficient and resource-conserving.
Assembly & Installation
- Assembly of racks and installation of mechanical and electronic components
- Installation of copper and fiber-optic networks
- Installation of cable trays and structured cable management systems
- Careful labeling and documentation of the installed infrastructure
Prepare the infrastructure
- Upgrading facilities and establishing the technical infrastructure for modern data centers
- Support for Infrastructure and Expansion Projects
- Understanding of building services engineering (BSE) and its role in modern infrastructure projects
Maintenance & Service
- Fault Analysis and Repair Work
- Ensuring the Stable and Secure Operation of Critical Infrastructure
- Support for Maintenance and Service Calls
Project diversity
- Work at various locations throughout Germany
- A high degree of autonomy and genuine influence on project quality
- Collaboration within an experienced team with direct practical relevance

What you need
Professional & Technical
- Interest in or initial experience with electrical engineering, networking, building systems, telecommunications, or a hands-on technical installation environment
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with topics such as data center infrastructure, fiber-optic technology, building services engineering, or control panel construction
- Technical understanding of assembly work
- Care and precision in wiring, labeling, and documentation
Work Style & Personality
- Precise, reliable, and quality-oriented approach
- Structured thinking and strong documentation skills
- Initiative and a sense of responsibility
- A passion for teamwork and a truly hands-on approach
Willingness to Travel & General Conditions
- Willingness to travel frequently (Monday through Friday)
- Class B driver's license
- Good written and spoken German
