FTTH Fiber Optic Technician / Fiber Optic Technician (m/f/d)
Your job with us
- Installation, configuration, and commissioning of fiber-optic networks
- Laying, splicing, and connecting fiber-optic cables (no civil engineering work)
- Installation of fiber-optic splice closures and network components
- Measurements (OTDR, attenuation, etc.) and documentation
- Certification of Fiber-Optic Links
- Troubleshooting
- Maintenance and upkeep of existing infrastructure
- Work cleanly, in accordance with standards, and neatly—just as it should be
What you need
- Experience in fiber optic or cable installation? Great! - But it's not a must.
We'll train you properly—career changers welcome. - Manual dexterity and a good understanding of technology
- Basic knowledge of using tools and assembly
- Care when splicing, wiring, and measuring
- Reliability, accuracy, and a meticulous approach to work
- Team spirit—with us, you're rarely on your own
- A sense of responsibility and a healthy dose of a can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn new things and continue to grow
- Good knowledge of German
- Class B driver's license
- Willingness to travel frequently (installation Mon.–Fri.)
