Part-Time Back-Office Associate (m/f/d)
Quick Facts
We are looking for a part-time back-office employee for our FTTH (Fiber to the Home) installation company.
Do you have call center or similar experience? Then this position could be the next step for you. The duties consist of approximately 80% scheduling appointments over the phone and 20% other administrative tasks.
Weekly work hours range from 25 to 35 hours.
Your job with us
80% of appointments booked by phone (approx. 16 hours)
- Proactive Customer Outreach: Making initial contact by phone and scheduling appointments with end customers (owners/tenants).
- Route Optimization: Scheduling on-site appointments (home inspections, fiber-optic installations) by geographic zone.
- Appointment Management: Maintaining the digital calendar system and sending appointment confirmations.
- Inquiry Management: Answeringcustomer questions over the phone regarding the installation process.
20% General Administration (approx. 4 hours)
- Data Maintenance: Entering and updating customer data in the CRM system.
- Documentation: Filingof inspection reports and consent forms.
- Interface: Escalating issues or construction delays to project management.
- Mail & Mailings: Processing general incoming mail and preparing mailings for new development areas.
What you need
Absolutely necessary
- Strong communication skills: A high degree of empathy and patience on the phone, as end customers often have technical questions.
- Structured approach: Thinking quickly when coordinating schedules to avoid downtime for technicians.
- Computer Skills: Proficiencywith MS Office (Excel/Outlook) and, ideally, experience with CRM or ticketing systems.
- Fluent German
- Industry knowledge: Basic understanding of the process involved in installing a fiber-optic connection (training is usually provided).
- Experience working in a call center or in similar roles.
